The Origin Story
In the bustling streets of Toronto, a young Robyn embarked on her quest. Her first events were community driven, working as a part of a local women’s fitness facility, the Cabbagetown BIA, and eventually as as a vital member of the team behind record-breaking fundraising events like the Ride to Conquer Cancer and the Weekend to End Women's Cancers.
It was here where she spent many years (in many roles, provinces, and more than one country) learning the power of teamwork, community, and the importance of project plans. Little did she know that was only the beginning!
Robyn's thirst for learning, adventure, and impact propelled her across the globe.
Flashback
Eventually finding herself in the lands of Australia and New Zealand, she dove headfirst into the vibrant event industry eventually joining forces with elite organizations like Cycling Australia, IronMan, and the Australian Grand Prix amongst others. Along the way, she honed her skills in site operations, logistics, venues, and sports operations, gathering wisdom from the finest minds in festival-style events—and perhaps even fended off a kangaroo or two!
Eventually coming home to her roots in Toronto, Robyn joined the Toronto Pan Am Games Organizing Committee playing a pivotal role in orchestrating the logistics for the Ontario Place West Venue, weaving together her vast experiences into a tapestry of unforgettable world-class sports events during the summer of 2015.
The Continuation
As her superhero powers and love of events evolved, Robyn embraced her destiny, mastering the realms of client relations and marketing, venue planning, impact projects, strategy and process implementation, operations, and community initiatives. Her strengths in strategic planning, execution and love of creative chaos led to several years working with organizations and brands such as Hyundai, Rogers, CAMH, North York General Hospital, eCapital, President Biden After Party, True Patriot Love Foundation, and countless others.
With a unique ability to guide teams through the labyrinth of event management, she effortlessly translates ambitious pitches into seamless plans utilized by internal and external team members alike.
Armed with knowledge from her experiences, and a love of connecting people with purpose and intention, she has proved that a true event superhero can turn any challenge from a mere concept into a stunning reality and navigate the waters with thoughtful yet understanding adaptability, application, and action having the tools and know-how to make it happen under any circumstances strengthening and empowering teams along the way.
And of course, create lasting memories of human connection that are remembered for years to come.
